Disclaimer
Please read this before making any travel, financial, or safety decision based on something you read on kumbh.one.
Not an official source
kumbh.one is an independent, privately run informational website. It is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by the Government of India, any state government, any Mela administration, the Akhara Parishad, or any religious organisation. For binding, official information — road closures, security advisories, entry restrictions — always confirm with the relevant state Mela administration or official government tourism channels.
Part of a wider Kumbh Mela network
kumbh.one is part of a small network of independently branded Kumbh Mela websites, including sites covering bathing dates, site locations, an accommodation directory, and stay bookings. Where this site links to a sister site — for accommodation, transport, or other pilgrim services — that sister site is a separate, independently operated arm of the same network with its own terms, pricing, and policies. We link to them because we think they're useful, not as a paid promotion, but you should read that site's own terms and disclaimer before booking or paying for anything through it. kumbh.one itself does not process payments, take bookings, or guarantee availability of any third-party service.
Dates are provisional until officially confirmed
Kumbh Mela bathing dates are set by astrological calculation and only finalised by the Akhara Parishad closer to each event. Every date on this site is presented as accurately as we can determine at the time of writing, and marked "provisional" or "expected" where that distinction applies — but dates can and do shift. Do not book non-refundable travel around a date on this site without independently verifying it closer to the event.
Not travel, safety, medical, or legal advice
Content on this site — including the Pilgrim Guide — is general information, not personalised advice. It does not account for your specific health conditions, mobility, travel insurance, visa status, or local conditions at the time of your visit. For medical concerns, consult a qualified physician; for legal or visa questions, consult a qualified professional or the relevant embassy/consulate.
Crowd and safety risk
The Kumbh Mela is among the largest human gatherings on Earth, and dense-crowd events carry inherent risk, including the possibility of crowd crush, particularly on peak bathing days. We describe general safety practices in good faith, but attending any large gathering is a decision you make at your own risk, informed by official crowd-management advisories current at the time.
Religious and cultural content
Descriptions of legend, ritual, and belief on this site are presented respectfully and for informational purposes, drawing on widely published religious and historical sources. They are not intended as a definitive theological statement on behalf of any tradition, sect, or Akhara, all of which may hold varying interpretations of the same events.

Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. We do not vet, control, or take responsibility for the content, accuracy, or safety of external sites, including any booking, accommodation, or transport services you may find through them.
No liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, kumbh.one and its operators accept no liability for any loss, injury, or damage arising from reliance on information published here. This disclaimer should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.
